Our Commitment to Your Privacy

Your health data belongs to you. Within Reach stores your information on your device and optionally syncs it via your private iCloud account. We do not have access to your personal health information.

Data the App Uses

Within Reach accesses and stores the following data locally on your device to provide its features:

• Medication tracking: Information you enter about your medication schedule and doses
• Apple Health data: With your permission, data such as weight, BMI, workouts, symptoms, and activity—used to display your progress within the app

This data is stored on your device and never transmitted to us.

Where Your Data Lives

Your data is stored on your device and can optionally sync across your devices via your private iCloud account. We do not operate any servers that store your personal health information. No account with us is required, and your health data is never transmitted to us or any third parties.

Apple Health Integration

Within Reach can integrate with Apple Health (HealthKit) if you grant permission. This integration allows the app to:

• Read: Weight, workouts, and step count data from Apple Health
• Write: Weight entries and symptoms you log in the app

You control exactly what Within Reach can access through iOS Settings. You can revoke these permissions at any time, and the app will continue to work with manual entry only.

Notifications

Within Reach uses local notifications to remind you about medication doses, weight logging, and symptom check-ins. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device—no data is sent to external servers to deliver them.

Analytics

Within Reach uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-focused analytics. We send only:

• An anonymized identifier (not tied to you personally)
• Whether certain features are used (e.g., "user has a medication plan")—with no details about the content
• Which screens are viewed in the app

No personal health data, medication details, workout specifics, or identifying information is ever sent. This data helps us understand how the app is used so we can improve it.

We also receive Apple's standard, anonymized App Store analytics (such as download counts and crash reports).

Deleting Your Data

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete individual records within the app, or remove all data by deleting the app from your device. There is no account to delete because we never create one.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
